Outdoors At Oak Glen

This summer has been hot. And so far, this fall has been hot and humid as well. In order to escape the heat and have a little fun, we escaped to Oak Glen where Riley’s Apple Farm and Oak Tree Village were in full swing in the apple and pumpkin season.

It started with a simple request.

So we headed east and arrived at the apple orchard. The horses grabbed their attention right away.

Thomas had a little trouble get up the hills.

But he eventually made it to the pumpkins.

Haley, Liana, and Thomas picked out their pumpkins.

Wendy had fun picking out some flowers.

If there was ever a place that displayed the beauty of God’s creation, Oak Glen is it.

Although, some of the locals thought we were strange.

At Oak Tree Village, Annie’s Apple farm kept us nourished on our adventure. The apple pie with ice cream was particularly nourishing.

And then, it was time to go.
